Recipe: Bread with Hemp Seeds

Try pimping up your homemade bread with peeled hemp seeds to benefit from their delicious taste and vitamins. This recipe includes our Signature Products peeled hemp seeds.

Ingredients for one bread

  • 500 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 400 ml warm water
  • 1 yeast cube or 2 bags dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 g Signature Products peeled hemp seeds
  • 30 g linseeds
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast and the sugar in the water. Leave this for a few minutes. In the meantime, place the flour, salt, hemp seeds and linseeds in a bowl. Add the yeast-sugar-water and the vinegar to the dry ingredients and knead it until it is a uniform dough. Pour the dough into the greased or parchment-lined baking dish and place the baking dish in the oven while it is still cold and NOT preheated.

Turn on the oven and bake the bread at 200 degrees celsius for 60 minutes.

Drop the ready-baked bread out of the baking dish on a wire rack and let it cool down.
