This recipe features our Signature Products Hemp Seeds. Enjoy your granola with some plant based yoghurt or milk alternative and fresh fruits.
- 200 g oats
- 40 g Signature Products Hemp Seeds
- 30 g almonds
- 30 g hazel nuts
- 20 g sunflower seeds
- optional: coconut chips
- 20 g vegan butter or margarine
- 25 g maple syrup
- 10-15 g baking cocoa
- a pinch of cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- optional: vanilla
Preheat your oven to 175°C. Put the vegan butter or margarine in an oven safe bowl and into the oven to melt while you prepare the other ingredients. Chop your nuts of choice (except the hemp and sunflower seeds) and put them in a bowl. Add the oats, hemp and sunflower seeds and optional coconut chips. Add all the remaining ingredients to the melted butter or margarine and combine them into a sauce. Cover the oat and nut mix with the sauce and stir until everything is well combined. Lay out a reusable baking parchment and put your granola on top. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Flip your granola and bake again for 7-8 minutes. Check in between to make sure the seeds and nuts don't become too dark and burn. Let cool and enjoy!
You can use any kind of nuts or seeds you like and leave out the ones you don't.
